perfect.  Looks like two of the brass drain plates were missing, but those should be easy to get made.

Yep, me too.  Actually the box was not damaged at all.  And the packing company used about 100 cubic feet of foam rubber.  It took me 15 minutes to remove the foam from the box, just to find the machine  ;D ;D  Very nice packing job

I think I've changed my mind, I do want it. ;) Great looking machine Larry; glad it got there alright! If you have a good metal refinishing shop near you it shouldn't cost more than a couple hundred dollars to have it shining like a new penny. That's going to be a fun project and you'll have the coolest espresso machine. Everyone will be envious!  ;D


Did you think to get a picture of the wife's face when she saw how big it is? >:D

This is the late Danny McNulty's machine - I'd prefer a 2-group, but a 3-group would work. To my eye this is purest expression of mechanical art!

Well, it's mostly apart.  Copper tubing and tank soaking.  Group heads already cleaned.  If I were going to be here this weekend I might have it running ;D

I'll have to order a few gaskets and I may re-wire it.  I think the wiring, switches and lamps are probably in the worse shape of all.  As long as the pump is good I should be good to go.

The tank was fairly clean inside.
