Tex

Didn't you ever go to Mexico and dicker on the price of something.... my experience is that if people list it on Craigs list for 700 or best offer then they don't know the value of it and you can low-ball them with an offer... like $250 to see if they'll move.. which he did already by $200...  then toss him a hmmmm..... I'd really like to have it.... how about $300... then he goes to $400... and I send him $350... for a $14000 machine...  He's happy.. I'm happy ;D ;D

Nah - he may be happy with less than $700, but you'll still be cheap!  ;D

Funny, I showed it to Chris & she got excited about it. I had to tell her that I just don't need another machine and besides, I've got ~12 or so sitting around that I need to work on.

But I was shocked that she thought that machine looked cool, and even more surprised that she didn't go for my jugular for even looking at it. That's how I ended up with a Sonofresco, if you'll remember?

It's entirely possible that this old gal is heading to the PNW... to be restored, and PID'd.

Good deal!  So now you have your espresso machine for the cottage and it will be all cleaned up and PID'd also.  I am still trying to figure out how Robert let that baby go.

Shhhh!

Maybe you are, maybe you're not? I just know that I want you to do all my negotiating in the future. You do the buying/selling (and widgets) and I'll handle the refurbs/mods - we'll make a killing!  ;D

I'm looking forward to the frequent pictorial updates.

iiit! I didn't think milo'd do it.

But I just don't have a spot for a four-foot tall espresso machine.
