Robert ... is he right in his $30-$40 for a portafilter (it sounds kind of low)?

Actually, I know where you can pick up La Marzocco PF's, sans filter basket & spout, for only $20 +S&H.

Any E61 PF will fit the Faema E61-type group used in the ES-1A.

Nope - it's a secret that's reserved for Bunn owners. We're a secretive & very exclusive group that keeps secrets from the common folk.  ;)

Seriously, if I blabbed the info there wouldn't be any left for our folks.  :(

When you go pick this up for me.......... make sure you pack it well!

Note: the shipping seems really low.... new seller... buyers beware... I would only do a pickup/cash deal...

Milo you already have a multi group commercial machine ... are you engaging in toy envy with Tex?

No way dude, when I pick stuff up for you, you seem to expect to receive it?

Buying any used machine is always caveat emptor, but of the 60 or so I know about, none have cost more than ~$150 to get operational (except for the one guy who went over board on custom paint jobs & plating). And there's the Bunn User's Group ready to provide all the support & advice anyone would need.

I have that effect on some folks; everything turns into a pissing contest. He even had to eat more than me at the BBQ joint?

When you pick stuff up for someone ... isn't there a reasonable expectation for the guy who your picking it up for to expect to receive it?

Are you saying that a visit to Robert Harmon's place is tantamount to the wallet taking a severe beating?

Ha! Why the heck would any reasonable person expect that? Absurd socialistic concept!

Only if you're one of those overly competitive yuppy types from the PNW! You'd have thought we were in an eating contest to see milo chowing down. The guy could threaten Takeru Kobayashi's claim to fame.

And heck no, I bought him lunch - of course I didn't see that he'd ordered two of everything on the menu! ;D

I don't know who Takeru Kobayashi is but I take it that it is a person who eats more than his fair share?
