The only thing better than the coffee is the food

Hmm, I'm kinda shut down from coffee this week due to the Sales team being in house taking over the employee room where I stash my water kettle and normally do my brewing.  I _probably_ won't bring in my La Peppina this week just because of all the visitors, but it has me thinking of what else I need to pick up or bring in for this setup.

  • Second portable GFIC plug with surge protector
  • Second knock-box or improvised box (wooden stick over the trashcan?)
  • Bar towels
  • Demitasses
  • Tamp mat
  • Espresso machine cover or camouflage

I used to use an old Dell monitor box to hide everything. I used the corner of the trashcan for the knockbox, flushing water or the need to dump the tray was my biggest issue. Tamp mat =old mouspad flipped over. I took 1 towel a week in and sometimes 1 out :)

Since it's "under the radar" you will need to mask the coffee smell also.

Lesson learned a long time ago; bring something good to work and your boss and his boss will want some. Once your boss and his boss get something good, you're expected to provide it on a more or less constant basis.

Moral of story? Only set the bar as high as you want to carry it.

Done this. My director has left the company but managed to keep me around with good pay. My previous boss is now my biggest customer buying 3 to 4 pounds a week now. We all chip in and buy equipement. Though my silvia is now home with him and he's never paid me for it.. wait a minute!

I'm an amateur pastry chef and I brought in all my flops when I was developing my masterpiece recipe. It was always better than what restaurants served, even if it wasn't up to my standards, but when I stopped bringing them in folks complained.

Well I now have a Pharos, La Spaziale mini vivaldi II, la pavoni romantica and a precisio at work.

I cheated though, my office closed and I am now working from home:)

Either the radar has too high a ceiling, or you finally bought that cloaking device on ebay.   :)

We actually have an extra cubicle section added to the top of our area to keep the noise down, so you could say that we have a high ceiling.
