Galloping Gourmet extender ring?

Anyone tried one of these? Wouldn't it be nice if it fit a Stir Crazy or Salton popper?

I've sent an email to the sender asking about the size. If I wanted a wok ring, I'd buy a wok ring. They're not hard to find.

Tex I simply went to my local sheet metal workshop. Pulled a piece of long metal out of there trash bin and went inside with it and asked them if they would make it round and about 1 1/2" tall for me. They did and charged me 7$ I haven't looked back yet.

That's sorta what I was thinking...  just grab some aluminum from Lowes and make a spacer.  The one in the photo looks a little too tall anyway.

I was thinking of leaving the popper heater connected and using a taller spacer. Hard to find anything over 2" wide off the shelf.
