Press Pot, Bodum 48 oz

This is the Big Daddy Lipscomb of all presses.  It is the one I won during our Coffee Kids auction.  It is a 48-ounce unit. I used it this morning and once again, walk away with respect for the Bodum line.

For perspective, that is a 6-oz coffee cup and the Hario Buono V60 next to it.   We are now ready for the August cup-off.  Bring it on, Cabal!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who lets the top chamber of the siphon sit with the spent grounds in it for awhile after use.

Except with B|Yama, he'll make another pot of coffee with those grounds.

If only the Bodum had a cow themed pot... that would be really swell.

Ignore these interlopers.  The grounds come out more cleanly when good 'n spent.  Then, into the grass they go.  If I know Peter is coming over, I re-use them.
