This unit does heat fast and you can control the pour fairly well with the pointed spout - works great with a small French press or Aeropress for me. Originally this was going to be called the "Bonavoyage" but I am not sure if the name stuck or not.

It has a long and thick three prong cord too.

Can you imagine finding/modifying a small FP so that you could actually press inside this thing?
