Miss Rancilio Manual needed
« on: September 30, 2011, 01:26:00 PM »
I just purchased an older Miss Rancilio espresso machine I plan to give to my cousin.  I have no manual and understand this model also went by name Audrey and Rialto.

Any help w a copy of a manual would be so appreciated and I dont mind sending green(coffee or $).

This site has really been fun and I appreciate all you do.

Milo  and MP, I appreciate you offering copy of the Silvia manual.  I have it as I've had a Silvia for 2 or 3 years and kept all the paperwork.  Rancilio just makes great stuff and they fit into my crowded kitchen easily.

The used Miss Rancilio(I think also called Audrey and Rialto)  is very different to me.  Smaller, not quite as sturdy as a Silvia as the frame is hard plastic.  The guts seem similar and definitely are good metal but taking apart the shower screen I did and it needed major cleaning in fact it wouldn't let water thru it was so nasty.  But I couldn't get the grouphead off to clean.  The removal of the plastic exoskeleton has multiple screws and parts and there seems to be no easy way to get to the inner workings wo a lot of work.  I'm afraid I will mess up the plastic fittings.

Anyway I bought it for $150 offa ebay for my cousin who cant afford one.  It is working and produces a nice espresso.  The size of the portafilter is appreciably smaller than the Silvia I guess 53mm.  It's been fun to work on.

Again thx for the offer Milo. Thank you mp for sending the manual.   redcut
