I'm curious how the controls work on the SF1, and how it differs from the 800n. So Shaun, how does a DP bean roast on the SF1 like the Klatch Gedeo Worka? I have to back off the heat on mine and end the roast by time and temp after 1c. Do you vary the air control during the roast? On the 800n the drill is to turn the air down To 1 after drop-in and up to 2-3.5 after the drying phase is complete. On that bean I turn the gas off from drop-in to TP on advice from my friend with the same roaster.
